The largest pavé piece we make: a broad sculptural curve, set corner to corner in blue and clear stones, sweeping across two fingers' width of hand. It rises and folds back on itself like something breaking.

A crest is the highest point of a wave, the moment before it turns over. It is also the mark a family puts on a door. Both meanings are about the same thing — being unmistakably identifiable at a distance.

This is the ring for the day she has to walk into a room where she used to be smaller.

Genuinely large. It will catch on a sleeve and knock against a glass, and everyone will see it before they see you.
