A square face packed with small stones in every color at once — green, pink, blue, amber, clear — set at different heights so the surface is deliberately uneven. Held in a raw gold-plated claw at each corner.
Druzy forms when mineral-rich water gets into a cavity in rock and slowly crystallizes on the inside. The cavity is a flaw. The crystal is what the flaw filled with, given enough time and nothing else to do.
This is the ring for the middle of rebuilding, where the pieces don't match and she has stopped trying to make them. Nothing here is sorted. Everything here was kept.
Compact, and rougher in the hand than it looks in the photograph. That texture is the point.
